The yellow to golden yellow coloured Peach Kernel Oil is a light oil that is absorbed easily by the skin, leaving it feeling soft and silky. It improves the barrier function of the skin and is therefore ideal for the use of sensitive and dry skin. Similar to the Sweet Almond and Peach Kernel Oil, it comprises of a high content of unsaturated fatty oils, such as oil and linoleic acid.

The fine and light Sweet Almond Oil is very skin-friendly and ideal for sensitive, rough, flaky and dry skin. Sweet Almond Oil is very suitable for the care of infants and small children. It is characterised by a high content of unsaturated fatty oils, such as oil and linoleic acid.

Alcohol is another term for ethanol or ethyl alcohol. In manufacturing plant extracts contained in Weleda's products, mixtures of alcohol and water are used as extraction agents in some formulations. The consistency and stability of natural cosmetic products are improved by alcohol.

Jojoba Seed Oil is an oily liquid wax that is very similar to the protective layer of the human skin. At the same time, it supports the barrier function of the skin. Thereby it protects the skin against water loss without leaving it greasy. It is very skin friendly, easily absorbed and is therefore a suitable care product for all skin types, especially for dry skin. It is also very suitable as a foundation oil, which does not go off.

Hyddrolyzed Beeswax is an ingredient that is gained from beeswax. It is mainly used as a protecting wax component to improve consistency and to stabilize the emulsion. The slight emulsifying effect of beeswax is reinforced with Hydrolyzed Beeswax.

The gentle Rosa Moschata Seed Oil (also called Wild Rose Oil) consists of plenty of linoleic acid, a polyunsaturated fatty acid that is easily absorbed by the skin. Thus, the pale-yellow to orange-red oil leaves the skin feeling soft and velvety. It is therefore an effective plant oil for sensitive, dry and cracked skin.

Due to the phytosterol and the squalene in the unsaponifiable part of the olive oil, it is a valuable raw material, which has an antioxidative effect and is very kind to the skin. This component is easily absorbed by the hydro-lipid film of the skin and thus supports its barrier function. Thereby, it contributes to the protection of the skin against water loss. The unsaponifiable part of the olive oil is ideal for skin care products for dry and sensitive skin.

Extracts of purple stonecrop contain tannins and sugar alcohols. In aqueous extracts of purple stonecrop the sugar alcohols can swell and thereby have a moisturising effect. They are used as ingredients in shampoos and skin care products for dry and demanding skin.

Glyceryl Stearate SE is an emulsifier that is especially used for stabilising the O/W emulsions (oil-in-water-emulsions). It is produced from various vegetable oils. Glyceryl Stearate SE also helps to smoothen and soften the skin, leaving behind a supple light feeling.

Eyebright (euphrasia officinalis) contains flavonoids, tannins and bitter substances. Extracts of eyebright have an invigorating, skin-caring and astringent effect on the skin. Eyebright extracts are often used in skin care creams for the eye area.

Xanthan Gum is a high molecular weight, long chain carbohydrate (polysaccharide), which is used as a natural gelling agent, emulsion stabilizer, binder and viscosity regulator.

Sodium Beeswax (beeswax soap) is derived from beeswax. It is used as a consistency regulator and a protective wax component. The slight emulsifying effect in the beeswax is reinforced in the beeswax soap.
